Kim, I think you made some improvements to the book image but it is still a bit bright in overall value scale. Try adding some midtones throughtout the whites.
The fence image is still a bit confusing. If "please help" are being burned into or projected onto the grass then I'd like to see the fence and surrounding area better reflect the message. Think about how color, value, and lighting can all evoke emotional response within a piece.
I am a student at Ashland University, pursuing a double degree and double major with a BS in Computer Graphics and a BA in Computer Science with a minor in Spanish. I don’t really know why I decided to kill myself with the workload, but it seemed right at the time and I enjoy the classes when I am not overwhelmed...
